The vision IMMORTALS is a medium sized EU Community. We believe in all playertypes, but be open minded, team orientated and have an inner will to adapt and progress your gameplay. Our overall goal is to continue with our work from the original Darkfall and strive to maintain our interests trough strategic battles, make a name of ourselves and have fun while doing so.
Clan rules & guidelines Every member should be familiar with the rules & guidelines that apply for forums, TS and ingame. It is important because this is our identity.
An organized clan needs rules and guidelines to maintain structure and to keep the progression productive. This is the overall responsibility for the leaders and officers, but this success is based upon each individuals willingness. Everyone in our clan has shown such potential through the application process and on Teamspeak. We therefore ask you to meet the present and the future with an open mind. Be aware of your activities as they could create negative attention within the community, and such actions could cause conflicts.
Individuals who directly causes negative attention over time that affects the community will be given a "pep talk" or a warning. In extreme cases where individuals dont comply and persist, a kick/ban will be given. This will be after a well thought out process and considered as the remaining final solution. Every decision taken should be in the best interest of the clan.
Forum The homepage and forum is the place where most information can be found, especially if you weren't present during an important happening ingame or on mumble. It is therefore critical that members at least try to check in once a day, or if your accessibility is lower then at least check before you log on ingame (it doesn't take that long). Perhaps there's either war details or important info about new allies. The forum is also naturally a place to socialize, either clan related or offtopic. Be fair and recieve respect in return. Below is a list of actions that you should be aware of and possibly avoid, while we at the same time take the context of any discussion into account before judging.
- avoid inappropriate or offensive content - avoid posting illegal content or links to illegal content - avoid "double posts" and spam in general (i.e. bumping or advertising).
Teamspeak The community consists of different nationalities, but all public chat and talk is to be kept in english. It is prefered that every member use Teamspeak as often as possible, simply because it is our first line of communication (defense and offense). There are many scenarios where this comes in hand, especially if battles suddenly take place while unprepared, one has to regroup and set tactics. During such important happenings where structure and leadership is required, communication is to be kept on topic and preferably to a minimum. When we're doing PvP, Siege, raid events, everyone should stay focused and listen to the ranking officer.
Acknowledge and respect the decisions taken by the leaders/officers, as well with the rest of the clan. During battle theres no time for arguing, every second counts. Healthy and longer discussions can be brought up afterwards. Criticism is acceptable, but in many cases it shouldn't be brought up in public. More importantly, use common sense, ask yourself how you can act to contribute to a friendly environment.
Ingame The chatbox ingame is rarely used for any communication regarding competitive/ tactical battles. As a general rule, keep the guild chat clean by avoiding spam, asking the same questions over/- over again, and bad language. Make sure you are updated on the forums, in some cases there could be critical info that affects ingame.
It is in our best interest that the clan remains your safe haven. We have all our differences, but in the end we are all on the same team, and it is a place where every member should act accordingly. By mastering these rules and guidelines you should have the basic synergy which is needed to maintain any community.
If you have any issues or feedback related to the clan, forward it to any leader or officer through PM
